Stephen Wines, a 27-year-old from Bailey Island, Maine, went missing on May 12, 2017, after a tragic boating accident on the Androscoggin River near Bay Bridge Landing in Brunswick. Stephen was fishing with his brother, William Wines, when he suddenly fainted and fell overboard. His brother attempted to save him, but after struggling in the water for about 30 minutes, William was forced to let him go due to exhaustion.
