Benjamin Smith, a 24-year-old man from Tijeras, New Mexico, was last seen on July 4, 2017. He was living with the mother of a deceased friend at the time. That afternoon, after enjoying some food and drinks, he left the house around 4 p.m. to take a short walk to a nearby park. He had plans to attend a baseball game and watch fireworks later that evening, but he never returned.
