Missing

Cheryl Yvonne Davis, age 17, was last seen in the early hours of July 4, 1979, in Charleston, South Carolina. She was spotted at a 7-11 gas station on the corner of Ashley Hall Road and Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, shortly after midnight. A witness remembered her because of her distinct tan and her appearance. Cheryl was wearing a tank top, white Levi's shorts, and flip-flops, and she was carrying a straw purse decorated with butterflies. At the time, her naturally red hair was dyed blonde.
