He had planned a sightseeing trip to Utah, driving his mocha-colored 1996 Ford Explorer with California vanity plates reading "BOB MINO." Mino, who was diabetic, was known to have last used his credit card on April 7, 2000, when purchasing gas in Hurricane, Utah. He also stopped in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he bought off-road tires.
This was the last recorded activity on his financial accounts, and he has not been heard from since.
