John Lucas, age 37, was last seen on December 28, 2001, after leaving his residence in Kaneohe, Hawaii. That same evening, Lucas was involved in a car accident on the Pali Highway near Kamehameha Highway. Before the police arrived at the scene of the accident, Lucas fled on foot into nearby brush and has not been seen since. Despite extensive searches and investigations, no trace of him has been found.
