Joe Taylor Vaughn, a 23-year-old from Vancleave, Mississippi, was last seen on July 17, 2005. On that day, his father dropped him off to fish at a pond near Old River Road Loop. Vaughn was supposed to use a neighbor's phone to call for a ride when he was ready to be picked up, but he never made the call and has not been seen since. Vaughn, who was known to be struggling with depression and had a history of drug abuse, disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
