In the late autumn of 2017, a 28-year-old man named Joshua E. Corter vanished from the area of his home in Independence County, Arkansas. On November 18, 2017, he was last seen walking into a wooded area near his residence in the vicinity of Pleasant Plains or Batesville. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in shorts adorned with the American Flag and cowboy boots. He was also carrying an orange rope.
