Anthony Sam Castillo, a 50-year-old U.S. Navy veteran, was last seen on January 22, 2018, in San Francisco, California. On the day of his disappearance, Castillo mentioned to friends that he might ride his bike to the Golden Gate Bridge. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored cycling suit, a red helmet, and yellow shoes, riding a blue Fuji-brand mountain bike. This was his first bike ride since recovering from a cycling accident in September 2017 that had put him in the hospital.
Castillo attended a walk-in appointment at the VA Hospital in San Francisco at around 4:48 p.m. on the same day, but he has not been heard from since. Despite searches, no further information has surfaced, and his case remains open and unsolved. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the San Francisco Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit.Last Seen: Jan 22, 2018
