Marianne Waters, a 22-year-old woman, was last seen on July 18, 2008, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She routinely kept in close contact with her family, calling them frequently. However, after July 18, she stopped communicating, which raised concern. She was scheduled to meet her mother in Oregon on August 21, 2008, but failed to arrive, further deepening the family's worry.
