In the autumn of 2015, a sense of unease settled over the community of California, Missouri, with the disappearance of 45-year-old Jon L. Williams. A resident of Moniteau County, originally from Jefferson City, he was last seen on November 24, 2015, on Mount Hope Road. At the time he went missing, he was described as a white male, standing six feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes.
