Robert C. Putnam, a 78-year-old man from Neosho, Missouri, went missing on August 3, 2000. Putnam was last seen walking near his family's farm on Tower Road. He had a habit of taking regular walks close to the property, usually staying within a quarter-mile range. On the day of his disappearance, he was spotted walking less than half a mile east of his home. Despite an extensive search in the area, no trace of Putnam was ever found.
