David Alex, a 20-year-old originally from Illinois, went missing shortly after moving to Maui, Hawaii. Alex arrived on the island on November 1, 2016, and began working at an Office Max store. The last confirmed contact his mother had with him was on November 5, and he was officially reported missing after failing to show up for work on November 9.
