On 12/5/23 the Yuma County Sheriff's Office contacted the Medical Examiner's Office in reference to skeletal remains located in the desert area south of Tacna, Arizona southeast of Betty Lee Mine. The remains were initially located by hikers in the area. Remains consisted of a skull, two scapula, a humerus, a radius, a broken pelvis, a femur, a tibia, multiple ribs, and multiple vertebrae.
