The decedent is believed to have been homeless in Loma Linda, California. On 10/20/2017 the decedent was a pedestrian who was struck by an automobile and had been transported to Loma Linda University where he arrived in the Trauma Bay. He was diagnosed with multiple fractures and a traumatic brain injury and admitted to care, and on 11/07/2017 he was transferred to care at Select Specialty Hospital in San Diego.
