On 6/29/20 at approximately 0948 hours, the Yuma County Sheriff's Office responded to the remote desert area south of Aztec (West Granite Pass) in reference to mummified remains located in the desert area. The remains were located by USBP Agents on normal patrols of the area. The decedent was found with a faded brown unidentifiable article of clothing with red stitching. Also, a wallet was found near the decedent's remains, but it did not contain any information.
