On 12/20/21 at approximately 1043 hours, the Yuma County Sheriff's Office stopped out with skull in the remote desert area far south of Aztec, Arizona. The skull was found by US Border Patrol agents patrolling the area. An intact skull with mandible was located near black water jugs. The remains were recovered and transported to the Yuma County Medical Examiner's Office were samples of the mandible with teeth were retained pending possible DNA analysis.
