The decedent was an individual of unknown residency and marital status. On the afternoon of 10/24/2020, a group of hunters in the area of Dulzura smelled a foul odor and obtained Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates. They provided the GPS coordinates to the United States Border Patrol Agents, who searched the area and located the decedent, obviously deceased, in the dry riverbed of Cottonwood Creek.
