A couple walking on the beach saw 2 bones protruding from the sand. They thought they were whale bones so they started digging around the area, and quickly realized they might be human. The authorities were notified and further investigation revealed additional bones from the eroded beach embankment. An anthropological examination revealed death occurring at least 10 years and up to 20 or more years prior to location.
