Ted Haywood Wall, a 21-year-old commercial fisherman, disappeared on November 13, 1980, along with his close friend Harold Jeffrey Mays. The two men were last seen 16 miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, aboard a 23-foot Sea Ox fishing boat.
