In an unresolved case from 2020, the remains of an 82-year-old man named Joseph D. Writer were discovered, a case that remains marked as unclaimed. On December 10th of that year, Mr. Writer's body was found at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington. The investigation determined that he passed away due to natural causes. Despite extensive search efforts, the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office (PCMEO) has been unable to locate any next of kin or relatives who could claim his remains....
