On December 13, 2020, the body of Richard E. Silverman, a 77-year-old male, was discovered at a friend's residence in Puyallup, Washington. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office was informed and subsequently initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Silverman's death. His passing was determined to be due to natural causes, yet what followed was a painstaking search to identify and locate any next of kin.
