On February 18, 1990, a tragic incident unfolded at a Rescue Mission in Long Beach, California. A male individual, later identified as Benjamin Myles Cockrill, unexpectedly walked into the location and shortly after, collapsed in the garage area. Staff members acted promptly by covering him with a blanket, hoping to provide some comfort. However, when they checked on him later, they discovered he had passed away.
