On May 19, 2020, the body of Robert Lance Atteberry was found in San Diego, California, under tragic circumstances. Pedestrian Atteberry fell victim to a vehicular accident in the El Cajon area. Following the incident, emergency medical services promptly transported him to the Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. Despite the extensive efforts made by the medical team to resuscitate him, they were unsuccessful, and he was subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital.
