On July 29, 2020, the body of Patricia Yeatman, an unclaimed individual, was discovered in Powell, Tennessee. Despite efforts to find and contact her next of kin, no family members or representatives came forward to make funeral arrangements for Yeatman, leaving her case open-ended and unresolved. With no one to assume responsibility, the county undertook the somber duty of providing a cremation for Yeatman.
