On January 3, 2019, the body of a 74-year-old female, Juanita Condon, was found in Puyallup, Washington. She was a resident at Rainier Rehab, a skilled nursing facility where she was admitted on January 2, 2019, due to respiratory distress and an altered mental status. The following day, based on her prognosis, her personal representative decided to place her on palliative care. Condon was terminally extubated and passed away shortly thereafter.
