On October 30, 2022, the body of Cheryl Ann Ngathu, a 66-year-old woman, was discovered in Puyallup, Washington. She passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital from natural causes. Despite efforts by the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office, no relatives or friends have come forward to claim her remains, leaving Cheryl in the care of the county.
