On July 27, 2022, the body of Wilmer Lee Hartfield was discovered in Dallas, Texas. He was pronounced deceased in the same city, and despite efforts to identify and locate his next of kin, no relatives have yet come forward. The case remains open as authorities continue to search for anyone who may have known Mr. Hartfield or can provide information about his family.
