The unclaimed person case of Wanda Giorgi Guthrie remains unresolved nearly a decade after her body was discovered. On March 17, 2015, Guthrie's remains were found in DeSoto, Texas. She was later pronounced deceased in Dallas, Texas, with the official handling of the case undertaken by the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences. Despite efforts, her next of kin has yet to be identified or located.
