On February 10, 2025, the body of Leah Sina Horowitz was discovered at the Sunny Brea Board & Care Facility in Los Angeles, California. She was found unresponsive, leading to her transport to the Los Angeles County Morgue. However, complications arose when no physician was available to sign her death certificate, delaying official documentation of her passing. As a result, her case was forwarded to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner over two months later, on April 21, 2025.
