On August 7, 2019, the body of 64-year-old Winfield Thomas Freitas was discovered in his apartment in Portland, Oregon. A neighbor found him deceased, and subsequent investigations indicated a natural death. The decedent's extensive medical history was a notable factor, but there was no evidence of foul play.
