On May 1, 2024, the body of William Jack Harris, an unclaimed male, was discovered in Long Beach, California. His friend, concerned after not seeing Harris for a month, requested a welfare check. Long Beach Police Department officers responded and forced entry into Harris's residence, where they found him unresponsive. The Long Beach Fire Department pronounced him deceased on-site, and the cause of death was determined to be natural.
