On August 9, 2024, at shortly past midnight, the body of Jose Miguel Quevedo-Quevedo was discovered on a riverbank in Los Angeles, California. The discovery took place at 00:23 hours, and although the authorities were able to identify him, he remains an unclaimed person as efforts to connect with any next-of-kin have so far been unsuccessful.
