On November 11, 2022, the body of Dominique Jordan Tripp, a 31-year-old Hispanic male, was discovered in San Diego, California. Found in an area frequented by unsheltered individuals, his condition was alarming enough to prompt a passerby to take immediate action. This individual, also unsheltered, came across Tripp while riding a bicycle on the boardwalk. Realizing something was amiss, the passerby promptly contacted emergency services, setting off a rapid response from local law enforcement.

As paramedics arrived on the scene on November 12, 2022, any hope of resuscitating Tripp was soon dispelled. The condition of his body, marked by rigidity, left no room for medical intervention. His death was confirmed at the scene, leaving law enforcement and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office with the task of uncovering the circumstances surrounding his last moments. Despite their investigation, much remains unknown about Tripp's life, including his marital status and residence.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office, situated at 5570 Overland Avenue, Suite 101, is spearheading the investigation under the Agency Case Number: 2022-03785.
