On September 7, 2023, the unclaimed body of Derek Houston Littlefield, a male, was discovered in Claremont, California. Prior to his death, Mr. Littlefield was seen at Montclair Hospital on September 6, 2023, where he chose to sign out against medical advice. Despite feeling unwell later that evening, he declined to return to the hospital for further medical assistance.
