On December 27, 2021, the community of Escondido, California, was touched by a somber incident involving an unclaimed person case currently under the jurisdiction of the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. The decedent, identified as Oscar Archivaldo Hermosillo, was discovered unresponsive outside his apartment.
