On March 21, 2022, the body of Nicholas Holland Pratt was discovered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Despite efforts to identify and contact any next of kin, no one came forward to claim his remains or make the necessary arrangements for his funeral. As a result, authorities proceeded with an indigent cremation, a measure taken when there is no one available to manage such responsibilities.
