On January 12, 2017, the body of a male identified as Steven Edwin Womack was discovered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Despite extensive efforts by the Knoxville Police Department, they were unable to locate any next of kin for Mr. Womack. As a result, the county undertook the responsibility of cremating his remains.
