Murdered

On May 5, 2024, 24-year-old Diamond Dom'Unique Kennedy was fatally shot in a domestic violence incident in Newberry, South Carolina. The shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. at the Nance Forest Complex, approximately a mile from the Newberry College campus. Officers responding to the scene found Kennedy with an apparent gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
