In the evening hours of August 17, 2022, a grim discovery was made in the Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Inside a vehicle parked near the intersection of Garfield and North Newstead avenues, police found the bodies of two men who had been fatally shot. One of the victims was identified as 30-year-old Montel Sanders of Woodson Terrace. The other man was 20-year-old Jeremiah Jackson of Glen Echo Park.
