Kevin Maurice Briscoe Jr., also known as "Scoe," was killed on July 1, 2015, in Indianapolis. Briscoe, aged 33, was a father and a known member of the community. His death occurred during a year that would be marked as one of the deadliest on record for Indianapolis, with over 140 homicides reported throughout 2015.
