In the summer of 2015, the life of a young Indianapolis man was tragically cut short, leaving a family in mourning and a community with unanswered questions. Lamar L. Harris, a 24-year-old Black male, was killed by gunfire on or about July 15, 2015. His death was a stark reminder of the gun violence that can suddenly devastate lives and leave a lasting void.
