Phillip Chase, a 47-year-old resident of Cannelton, Indiana, tragically lost his life on March 14, 2016. The incident occurred on Bell Hollow Road, where Chase was visiting a residence. According to reports, an argument broke out between Chase and Stacy Matheny, also 47 years old, outside the house. During the altercation, Matheny pulled out a handgun and shot Chase, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
