In the winter of 2016, a life was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, leaving a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers. Charles E. Brown, a 31-year-old African-American male, became a victim of the city's ongoing struggle with gun violence on the evening of Friday, January 29th.
