Kevin Paulino, a 24-year-old soldier from Fort Hood, Texas, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2016, in Peru, Indiana. Paulino, who had enlisted in the Army in May 2016 as an infantryman, was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood in September of the same year. His death was the result of a gunshot wound, and it occurred while he was serving in Indiana.
