Eric Antione Hearn, a 33-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost his life on January 10, 2017. Hearn was found dead in a hotel room at the Country Hearth Inn located at Goshen Road and Coliseum Boulevard. The Allen County Coroner's Office identified him as the first homicide victim of 2017 in Allen County. The cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
