In the summer of 2019, the quiet community of Medaryville, Indiana, was disturbed by a violent death. On the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2019, 25-year-old Brandon Kyle Messer of Rensselaer and Medaryville was found deceased at a rural residence. The Pulaski County Coroner's Office was called to the scene to investigate. It was soon determined that the young man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
