On January 4, 2017, 36-year-old Ammar Shatnawi and his cousin Wesam Sammour were tragically killed in an armed robbery while working at Jordan’s Fish and Chicken restaurant in Indianapolis. The two men were closing the restaurant for the night when two masked gunmen entered, leading to a brief struggle before both Shatnawi and Sammour were fatally shot. The suspects, who were captured on surveillance footage wearing hooded jackets, fled the scene after the attack.
