In the winter of 2017, the life of Ammar Shatnawi, a 36-year-old man who had moved to Indianapolis from Jordan, was tragically cut short. On the night of January 3rd, Shatnawi was working at Jordan's Fish and Chicken on the east side of the city alongside his co-worker and roommate, 34-year-old Wesam Sammour. What began as a regular shift ended in a senseless act of violence that left both men dead.
