Dion Clayton, a 27-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, was tragically killed in a shooting on May 4, 2020. The incident occurred in the 4500 block of Broadway in Gary, where Clayton was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:14 a.m. The Lake County coroner's office ruled his death a homicide, and the Lake County/Gary Metro Homicide Unit launched an investigation into the case.
