Thomas Pearson Jr., a 17-year-old from Fishers, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 13, 2020, following a shooting incident outside the Best Choice Fieldhouse. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. as Thomas and another 17-year-old boy were getting into a car. Both teens were shot, and while they were initially alert and speaking when taken to the hospital, Thomas's condition deteriorated, leading to his death.
