On a cold January evening in Indianapolis, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a brazen act of violence. Cung Cem, a 19-year-old male of Burmese descent, was driving with his fiancée on South Meridian Street just before sunset on Sunday, January 17, 2021, when their vehicle was ambushed. Another car pulled alongside theirs, and a gunman opened fire, striking Cung.
